COMS Day 2017 kicked off to a great start at Anna Irvin Dinning Hall Thursday.

Communication Majors put together games to play like COMS bingo and COMS myth busters.

Young Alumni Forum
The Young Alumni panel included Lillie Childers, Charlotte Quinn, Jessica Spradlin, and Roosevelt Mendez.

Guest speakers included a Young Alumni forum with recent University of Montevallo graduates Lillie Childers, Charlotte Quinn, Jessica Spradlin, and Roosevelt Mendez.

Featured speaker and 2015 Alumni Ryan Kirkland talked about important vaules Communication Studies has taught him.

Key speaker and 2003 Alumni Joey Mure said, “People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it,” during his lecture.

After door prizes, COMS Day moved to their new location in Strong Hall where Commnication seniors set up a food table complete with a hot chocolate bar.

An Opportunity Fair had representatives from the University of Alabama and UAB, and included current current Communication seniors.

“Communication Studies program is amazing. It challenges you both academically and physically,” says Communication senior Jessica Ledford.
