Montevallo Students scrambled around campus this week, working feverishly to prepare for final exams.
Although finals week can be stressful, the Learning Enrichment Center (LEC) has several tips to make the week run more smoothly, and to help students maximize their study time.
“Always start really early on studying for finals or any other kind of test you’re studying for,” said Randi Tubbs, director of the LEC.
When sitting down to study, the LEC encourages students to unplug from all potential distractions such as social media and text messages.
Tubbs also emphasized the importance of taking periodic breaks in order to avoid mental fatigue.
The LEC hopes students enjoy their holiday break and return next semester ready to achieve academic excellence.
