The University of Montevallo hosted its annual Media Day celebration Wednesday, where students have a chance to speak face-to-face with professionals in the Mass Communication field.

Over a dozen companies came to Strong Hall to represent themselves, including some unexpected visitors like the Hibbetts Sports company and Strong Automotive Merchandising.

 

Students were also able to ask specific questions to a panel of experts in a more formal question-and-answer event during the second half of the celebration. Many of the speakers on the broadcast panel are recent graduates of the UM mass communication program.

All students are welcome to attend this annual event, where free lunch is served as well.
