This past Wednesday on April 4th at 5:00 pm the Montevallo Falcons mens baseball team squared off against Mississippi College.

The team went into the game with a record of 25 and 11 for the regular season and a previous three game winning streak.

Mississippi College went up early in the first with a three run lead but the Falcons were quick to respond.

Montevallo plated two runs in the second to only trail by one. The choctaws went up 7 to 2 in the third before Montevallo came back with 4 runs in the fifth to only put the trail at one.

A wild pitch scored Chad Wagner in the bottom of the seventh to make it an 8 to 5 ball game.

Some highlights were impact player chad Wagner drove in four runs and went three of five from the plate and Sebastian Samuels two run rbi came in the ninth inning off a home run that started the Falcons late inning come from behind victory.

Head Coach Chandler Rose said he was impressed with his teams performance but is still in preparation for the remaining few games of the season and the playoffs.

Main impact player for the game was Chad Wagner and Montevallo ended up winning scoring seven runs in the final frame for a walk off victory.
