Seniors in the Communication Studies program are hard at work preparing for one of the program’s biggest events: COMS Day.
The theme for the 8th annual COMS Day is “Choose Your Own Adventure.” The day will include games, raffles, and an “Adventure Mixer.”
Senior Claire Caddell said she is hopeful that the event will allow people to learn more about the program.
“I think it will bring a better understanding of what communication studies is as well as all of the opportunities that you can get out of it in your future and as a student,” said Caddell.
The event will also feature a few guest speakers including Giselle Casadaban, recent graduate of the University of Montevallo. Casadaban is currently working in the brand management practice as a senior associate at Markstein, a marketing communications agency.
COMS Day 2018 is scheduled for this Thursday, Oct. 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the McChesney Student Activity Center.
