La Conchita is finally open and business couldn’t be sweeter. This bakery and pastry shop may seem small but the selection of baked goods is huge!

Baker Juan Sanchez has been patiently waiting for opening day: “We wanted to open since December basically. We actually spent about 3 months just making the whole place…But then the permits took way too long…Then we wanted to open by January but the people wouldn’t let us so we opened up about 2 or 3 weeks now. Things have been really, really good.”

Don’t have a sweet tooth? Want something with a kick? La Conchita offers a variety of spicy breads.

Colorful pinatas cover the ceilings and are a perfect match for the special cakes in display.

Located across from El Agave on Main Street, La Conchita is a place where there is something for everyone.
