Members of Greek life had a splash earlier this week. ATO and Lambda Chi joined together in unity to support a great cause. The two chapters set out on Farmer Patio to raise money for their charities, Feeding America and Best Buddies.
Both fraternities had a goal to raise money by hosting a Dunk Tank on campus, but this philanthropy was a little more unique than the others.
ATO’s president, David Carvaggio, and Lambda Chi’s Peyton Eddy came together to discuss a way they could promote Greek unity on campus.
Many Greek members on campus have been advocating for Greek unity and hosting their first ever joint philantrhopy was the perfect way to get started.
Throughout the day, students passing by the patio could pay $3 to choose a brother of their choice to get in the tank and dunk them!
Many people would walk by and call on their friends in the fraternities and aim at the dunk button by throwing softballs.
