Purple Side hosted a Halloween themed mixer October 30, 2019.
The event was held in the Student Retreat Center from 8 P.M. to 10 P.M.
Students were able to enjoy candy and Halloween decor. Purple Side also set up fun activity stations such as musical chairs, face painting, and bobbing for apples.
Purple Side hosted the event in hopes of bringing together new and old members of the side for a fun holiday mixer.
“We’re able to mix and mingle and talk about purple side stuff but also have fun and get to know each other.” Maya Burke
The mixer also included a Halloween costume contest. Grand prize winners were able to take home one free ticket to Purple Side’s infamous ‘PJ Party’ that is hosted in the spring.
Purple Sides will continue to have holiday themed mixers and events throughout the rest of the year, including a Thanksgiving potluck coming up soon!
