American Village kicked off their annual Tulip Festival this past weekend. The tradition began in 2016 with around 75,000 tulips.
Over 100,000 tulip plants line a field near the colonial style buildings, now. The Village says it’s unlike anything else in the southeast.
“We do this for the community because there’s nothing else like it. Plus, there’s a huge market for it,” says Amy Bell, Festival of Tulips employee.
Visitor are invited to come to the Tulip Festival and can tour the American Village grounds while they’re there.
Admission to the festival is $5 on the weekends and $10 during the week. Tulips with the bulbs attached can be purchased for $1.50 each.
