The University of Montevallo offers various resources to students online and on campus. These resources are meant to help students succeed in their academic careers and help them further use their skills to find a job after college.
There are online and in person resources that are available to students during the school term to help them with academics, mental health and future plans.

Academic
The university offers many academic resources to its students. It offers the Carmichael Library, Falcon Success Center, Harbert Writing Center, the Learning Enrichment Center, TRIO, DSS and Career Development Center.
These resources help students to be able to succeed in their academic studies at the university. They help students of all types try to succeed in their needed fields.
Harbert Writing Center says, “We support the traditional and innovative practices unique to Montevallo by embracing diverse rhetorical strategies, learning styles, and expressive forms.”

Health and Safety
The university has many health and safety resources offered on campus. They offer counseling services and health services.
Counseling services has an office on campus and offers many different counseling services dependent on the student’s needs. There is also health clinic on campus to treat student’s minor injuries and illnesses.
UM says that these resources are important because, “The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been difficult for all of us, and people throughout the world have reported higher rates of anxiety, depression and other mental health issues as a result of the outbreak.”
Technical
Students have many technical resources available to them to help them with a variety of things in their time at Montevallo.
They have Canvas, computer labs in many buildings on campus, falcon print, dynamic forms, GET, and Ellucian GO. These resources are for students to be able to access any information they need by the touch of a button.
