The University of Montevallo has a variety of food options on and around campus. And the best news for students who live on campus, they are all within walking distance. Some students may not know of the variety of restaurants that are around them and that a majority of them take Flex Points. Although not located directly on campus, most are within a 5-minute walking distance, which is a great way to get outside and enjoy the day.
ON CAMPUS
There are three eating establishments on campus for students. The cafeteria, Pita Pit, and Einstein Bros. Bagels. All three establishments take Flex Points. Students are able to log into the GET App and see hours of operations for all establishments and can look at the menu for the cafeteria.
The cafeteria menu is updated daily, and the cafeteria offers an assortment of foods for everyone. They have vegan food, pizza, salad, soup, sandwiches, and at the Innovation station, students can receive stir fry and mashed baked potatoes, as well as other foods depending on the day.
The Pita Pit is located inside Farmer Hall on the first floor and offers many options. Between white or wheat bread, smoothies and rice bowls, there is something for everyone. Students even get to watch their food be made and get to decide what they would like in it. There are many vegetables, cheeses, and spices offered.
The Einstein Bros. Bagels serves more than just bagels. Students can get coffee, bagels, muffins, yogurts, and other drinks here. There is an assortment of bagels to choose from and two types of cream cheeses. Einstein Bros. Bagels is located inside Farmer Hall across from the Post Office.
