Are you looking for a family-friendly fun event? If so, check out the Tulip Festival.

American Village annual Tulip Festival is taking place throughout the entire month of March.

The festival is an annual event the village host, and are in their sixth year of the festival.

Visitors will have the chance to walk through fields of over 80,000 tulips that have been planted, and pick from rows of tulips lined up.

Angel Tillman, an American Village employee says this about the blooming of the tulips, “there are early bloomers, mid bloomers, and late bloomers to keep the season longer so we are in our mid to late-season right now.”

If you’re for the right time to come to the festival it depends on the weather and the overall blooming of the tulips.

In 2017 was the first year of the festival at American Village, and since then has grown year after year. It was the owner and founder’s idea for the festival.

It’s plenty of activities to do at the festival on the weekdays and weekends.

Throughout the week different buildings are open on campus, and visitors will have the chance to tour around American Village. Also, visitors will be able to meet different historical patriots such as Martha Washington and Abigail Adams.

Festival hours are from Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sundays 12 noon to 4pm.
