The University of Montevallo has been named one of the nation’s “most beautiful” campuses by Alabama NewsCenter and named one of the most picturesque college campuses in the South by Southern Living magazine.

The campus is very unique, not only does the campus have beauty in its nature and culture with the bricks but the alumni play a big part with their dedications and donations to better the campus.

Head of the Alumni Association Tiffany Bunt said “Those (The dedications around campus) are typical class gifts given by the senior class.” As college days pass for the students in the past they leave their mark to be remembered through the statues. The Class of 1967 left their mark by donating to have the entrance archway built and it is historical today.

Sophomore Avry Zow said “ The beauty of the campus played a big role in my decision to come here, the entrance archway really help shows what the campus is about a beautiful campus with excellent academics, I can’t wait for the Class of 2024 to add their statue”

The beauty of the campus is a major recruitment tool for the school. Many students enjoy the campus scenery and you will see them walking around campus just enjoying nature.
