On October 14th Palmer auditorium once again served as the setting for a College Night show. Though, this one was a bit different than usual.

Alumni of varying ages from both sides came together and created a totally original story to accompany a musical revue of classic fairytale songs from College Night’s long history. The show, entitled “Once Upon A College Night”, was a fast and funny send up of all the fairy tale plots and characters that have been present in College Night since its inception

The Revue had all the elements of a College Night show. Both Purple and Gold sides dressed up in their colors, held pre-show cheers, circled up and even had speeches from their current leaders Alex Wilson from Gold and Karly Wilmore and Abigail Heuton from Purple.

This show though, was far more focused on side unity and love of the tradition than on winning or losing. Both sides still sat on their ceremonial right and left of Palmer auditorium, but as the night went along and alumni from both sides lit up the stage the line between Purple and Gold blurred and soon everyone was cheering for everyone.

It was a wonderful celebration of the magic and unique spirit of College Night

It was also announced that a College Night Revue will now be held every five years with the next performance slated for 2027.

All of this event was made possible by the College Night Endowment Fund. A group focused on preserving and continuing College Nights very long and storied history.
