The deadline for graduating seniors to apply for graduation is approaching. Those looking to graduate in May or participate in the Spring commencement need to apply no later than March 15. 

Seniors should have received an email to their forUM accounts from the Registrar’s Office regarding the application process. Eligible students apply for graduation through Banner Self-Service. After logging into Banner, click on “Student Records” and “Apply to Graduate” to get to the application page. 

Following the application, the Registrar’s office will send a confirmation email to your UM email account with a status on graduation requirements. 

In order to walk in the Spring Commencement, students need to declare intent to participate through the Registrar’s Office.
