From Feb. 27 to March 2, students will be able to participate in Career Week.

This event is hosted by Career Services, the Falcon Success Center and TRiO Student Support Services.

This week has many workshops that are designed to aid students in their job search. Here’s a run down of the week’s events.

Feb. 27: Finding your passion
In the EBSCO Room at Carmichael Library at 3:30 p.m.

This workshop is for students who are undecided on what career they would like to pursue. Students will take a career assessment that helps identify their strengths and potential career paths.

Feb. 28: Résumé Writing
In the Farmer Hall Meeting Room at 3:30 p.m.

This workshop will help students create a successful resume or improve their already existing one.

March 1: Interviews and Dress for Success
In Morgan Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Students will learn how to be confident and successful in an interview. They will gain knowledge on how to act and what to wear.

March 2: Mock Interviews
In the Montevallo Room at Anna Irvin Dining Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Students will take part in a mock interview and receive advice on how to improve their interviewing skills.

To participate in the mock interviews, students are required to sign up.

There will also be refreshments and giveaways this day too.
