Montevallo, Ala. — Montevallo’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team hosted their first home meet in program history on March seventh.
The event had fans packing the Central State Bank Arena to show their support for the team during this historical first for them.
UM was able to achieve record highs during Friday night’s event, but they were not able to bring home a victory for Montevallo.
In the end, the team lost by five points to Mars Hill with an overall final score of 238.250 for Montevallo and 243.470 for Mars Hill.
This marks the team’s lowest overall score so far this season, but the Falcons are looking to fly high into victory in their next meet.
If you are interested in coming out and supporting the Acrobatics and Tumbling team, the team will be hosting East Texas Baptist in a meet on Tuesday March 11th inside the Central State Bank Arena.
