MONTEVALLO, Ala. – All of the new dining additions in Farmer Hall have been completed and met with positive student reviews.

Bojangles is the newest restaurant to arrive on campus, replacing Tu Taco, which moved into the campus cafeteria. Freddie’s Kitchen is also a new eatery in Farmer Hall that comes with a variety of different dining options including BONMi, City Mac and Veg 23.

Jason Quarles, the Director of Dining Services, was pleasantly surprised about student reaction to the new dining options. “The feedback I’ve been getting has been very positive. We are a lot more busy then we thought we would be. We came in with a certain staff size that we thought we needed based on what we thought our sales would be and our sales are a lot more than that.”

Student feedback has been majorly positive for all of the new food options in Farmer Hall. “I would obviously recommend Bojangles to anyone first” says UM student Jeremiah Bell. “But City Mac is also really good.”

UM student Libby Lang also has positive things to say about Freddie’s Kitchen. “My favorite is Veg23, I honestly held off on getting it because I heard that it takes a long time to get the food. I got the buffalo cauliflower bites along with the build your own bowls, it was fire, it was so good.”

Freddie’s Kitchen is also interchangeable and has the ability to switch out dining options based off of student feedback.
