MONTEVALLO, Ala.— This past Thursday concluded two nomination events, one of which being the reveal of the Purple and Gold Side Leaders for next school year. The nominees for both sides were selected and voted upon by their peers.
Gold Side nominees included Natalie Gay, Emmie Koehn, Calvin Lindsey, and Jacob Manley. While Purple Side Nominees were Emily Brant, Taylor Frick, Charissa Moore, and Kurtis O’Neal.
I believe Jake and Emmie have a very bright future for Gold Side leaders and for Gold Side as a whole.

New Gold Side Co-Leader Jake Manley tells me “From my freshman year, most of the memories came from the show and rehearsals themselves. So, as leader, I’m excited to make new ones as we get to see what our cabinet can do and how me and Emmie can push them to achieving their goals”.
Both Taylor and Emily are so passionate in what they do and you can really see that they love doing it!

New Purple Side Co-Leader Emily Brant says “I think it’s a true honor to be a leader on a season that we can break history. I am very excited to be a part of our legacy and tradition and get to implement some new organizational strategies that can hopefully get us to another 3-peat”.
The new leaders can now begin their preparation for next years College Night season, as this was the final meeting between the two sides until next school year.
