Every Wednesday at 5:30 P.M. the Catholic Campus Ministry opens its doors to Montevallo residents for a free meal and Mass.

The church is filled with people from all walks of life, and celebrates coming together under one roof for a group worship.

While everyone is settling in at the church, the Mass will begin with singing and prayer.

The Mass will generally last about 30 minutes before everyone heads for the kitchen for supper.

The meals served are home made by the Parishioners of the church and bring the Montevallo students and residents together.

Michael Woodfield a Co-Campus Minister believes that the students benefit a great deal from the time spent at the church.

“ They love it! It’s a good home cooked meal. Our parishioners home cook everything every week so its really good,”  says Woodfield.

The meals are free to anyone that would like to join them and dinner is generally served at 6:00 P.M. right after Mass.
