Last Thursday, several students of the University of Montevallo’s Department of Communication were presented with awards for their work and achievements in the programs of communication studies and mass communication.
Presenters included the faculty of the department as well as special guest Tiffany Bunt, UM’s Communication Manager and adjunct professor with the Department of Communication.
The ceremony ended with the top two department awards with Ian Lee receiving the “Mass Communication Student of the Year” award and Jamie Haas receiving the “The Outstanding Communication Studies Student” award.
Along with the awards, the video titled “You Belong” was also presented, which several of mass communication students shot and produced.
