Residents of Cherokee County Alabama have recently struggled with severe flooding in their neighborhoods.

Residents say that a little flooding is common every year, but that they haven’t seen a case this extreme in decades.

Brian, a community member, says that his parents have been trapped in their home for weeks as they depend on him to cross the lake sized puddle to get them food and other necessities.
