The 7th annual Festival of Tulips will open on Saturday, February 18 at 10 a.m. The festival is held at American Village in Montevallo, less than four miles from campus. The address is 3727 Highway 119 Montevallo, AL 35115.
The event will feature 20 rows of Tulips for those who want to pick their own flowers. American Village is open Monday through Saturday from 10-4 p.m. and the Sunday hours are 12-4 p.m. All hours are weather-permitting and guests are encouraged to check the weather before they go.
Admission to the Tulip field is $5 per person and the flowers will be $2 each including tax. There will be parking for all attendees at the event and handicapped parking will be marked for those who may need it.
American Village’s other attractions will remain open during the festival and can be seen for an additional fee of $11 for adults and $9 for seniors. American Village provides free admission to all children under 4 as well as active military members and veterans.
