MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Boho Tea Bar located in Montevallo and Alabaster is a local tea bar where you can get coffee, boba, teas and even pastries. Boho has gained popularity in the past few years and has been quickly gaining recognition. Boho started in Alabaster and soon opened a location in Montevallo. Boho has become a very popular spot for the small Montevallo community. College and high school students alike have a spot to hang out, do homework and enjoy something sweet. So, what is most ordered and how has Boho made an impact on Montevallo.

- Rainbow Road – Pineapple lemonade mixed with Siren Song topped with Butterfly tea and strawberry popping boba.
- Pink Dahlia – Strawberry milk tea topped with strawberry drizzle, strawberry popping boba and galaxy glitter.
- Siren’s Song – Blue curaçao and blue raspberry lemonade topped with kiwi popping boba and galaxy glitter.
- Orange Dreamsicle – Orange creamsicle milk tea topped with sweet cream drizzle topped with orange popping boba.
- Purple Rain – Lavender Hibiscus lemonade topped with blueberry popping boba and purple galaxy glitter.
- Chili Bomb – Watermelon lemonade sprinkled with Tajin topped with mango drizzle and chili pepper popping boba.

Boho Tea Bar is always adding new items to the menu, so there is something new to try. Even if you do not like boba, there are options like lemonade and coffee. You can also request to leave the boba out. “I would recommend any of our lemoades, and we would just take the boba out if they don’t want it,” said Boho Tea employee Evelyn Amoroso. Boho Tea manager Grace Crofts recommends The Bomb Pop because “there is no boba in it, and it is easy to make.”
The Boho staff is also quick to recommend you a new drink, or if this is your first time visiting they will be sure to give you options. “I usually always go with The Mando or The Orange Dreamsicle, ” Said manager Gracie. Employee Evelyn recommends The Islander or The Purple Rain.
Opening up a location in Montevallo has given a spot for college students and others a place to hang out. “I think it has definitely given college students kind of a hangout,” said Gracie. “It is just this cozy chill place for everybody to come hang out, of any age really,” Evelyn said.
