For any student wanting to see what the field of Communication has to offer, Communication Career Day is the place to be. On Wednesday, Feb. 28th the Student Activity Center will be lined with tables featuring professionals in many different communication career paths.

There will be twenty-one companies in attendance, making this the largest Communication Career Day in Montevallo history. There will also be around twenty alumni guests, students will have no shortage of networking opportunities.

The name “Communication Career Day” comes from a desire to expand the former “Media Day” to the entire Department of Communication.

Operating off of the goal of showcasing the wide variety of career paths communications skills offer, no two companies will be quite the same. From Hibbett Sports to health communication, Strong Automotive to a Spanish-language radio station, students can find the right niche for their particular skill set.

The event will last from 10-11:30 a.m. and is open to all UM students, not just those in the Department of Communication.
