MONTEVALLO, AL. — Last Thursday Freshmen Forum hosted a spring craft event: Fairy Wings and Flower Things. As finals are approaching, students are trying to find ways to unwind and have fun.

The event featured a snack bar with small sandwiches, fruits, and flower plates and napkins. Participants also received free fairy wings, and the event featured a crafting station where students could craft lilies, roses, tulips, butterflies, and more out of pipe cleaners.

Freshman Forum president Sophie Metrock said this event is a great way for students to have fun.

“We wanted everybody towards the end of the year to have something to just relax and do for fun, something kind of nostalgic, a destresser from upcoming exams and any assignments, it is just a cute little way to get everyone together.”
