MONTEVALLO, Ala.— The Phi Gamma Delta chapter hosted a vintage flea market event providing students with the opportunity to support a good cause and stock their closet with clothes on the verge of being disposed for good.
Their selection included clothes across multiple varieties, seasons, and fabrics. Even featured collectables such as hats, cameras, and toys.
C.E.O Adam Williams tells me about his time serving as a member of Fiji at the College of Charleston and how he and two other members from that chapter came together to create this event and host it amongst other Phi Gamma Delta chapters across the country.
Fiji at UM will split their funds collected from the event in support of their chapter and in combination with their iVMAs philanthropy, a music video competition between participating organizations shot on a iPhone, which will be hosted April 22nd in support of the Shelby County Safehouse in support of domestic violence victims.
I really enjoyed it, the vibes were great. Just not as much feminine products as I was expecting.

Fiji’s active serving treasurer, Jacob Anderson, tells me that reaching out was a really cool experience and they hope to host another flea market in the coming semesters.
